Riyadh, July 14 (QNA) - The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia vehemently denounced on Tuesday the targeting of several Kuwaiti border centers and an offshore drilling rig belonging to Kuwait Oil Company.

It also condemned the attacks that targeted the Consulate General of the State of Kuwait in Basra, two UAE oil tankers during their transit through the Strait of Hormuz, as well as Iran's continuous threat to the security and stability of the region by attacking the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, the Kingdom of Bahrain, and the State of Qatar.

In a statement, the Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs emphasized that the Kingdom thoroughly pushes back against Iran's violations against the brotherly nations, deeming them a non-starter, along with its destabilizing behavior toward the security and stability of the region, the principles of international law, the UN Charter, the Charter of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, and the principles of good neighborliness.

In addition, the Kingdom held Iran responsible for the consequences of its persistent egregious assaults and demanded that Iran cease these breaches to safeguard the security and stability of the region.

It reiterated its full solidarity with the brotherly nations in all measures they pursue to protect their sovereignty. (QNA)
