India Declares Official Mourning, Orders Flags Flown at Half-Mast Following Passing of HH the Father Amir Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al-Thani
New Delhi, July 12 (QNA) - The Government of India announced that Monday will be observed as a day of official mourning following the passing of the late HH the Father Amir of the State of Qatar Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al-Thani.
In a statement on Sunday, the Indian Ministry of Foreign Affairs said flags across India will be flown at half-mast on all buildings where they are hoisted, adding that all official recreational events will be canceled during the day of mourning. (QNA)
