Ramallah, June 09 (QNA) - The Palestinian Cabinet convened on Tuesday and condemned the persistent carnage by the Israeli occupation army against displaced people in the Gaza Strip.

One such atrocity resulted in the killing of six Palestinians and the wounding of dozens of others in an attack on the Rimal Neighborhood in Gaza City.

The Cabinet called on the global community and the countries that guarantee the ceasefire deal to immediately spring into action to halt the aggression and ensure the flow of medicines and life-saving humanitarian aid into the enclave.

It stressed that attacking shelter centers and civilians amounts to a war crime and a brazen flouting of the ceasefire accord sponsored by major countries.

The Cabinet further held the occupation government thoroughly responsible for the escalating terror of colonist militias, outlining that last week alone was marked by a total of 82 attacks on 13 Palestinian villages, leaving 31 Palestinians injured, including 11 children.

These rampages, the cabinet noted, were also marked by attempts to commit arson, vandalize property, establish several settlement outposts, and issue notices for razing residential structures across a variety of Palestinian governorates.

These acts, the Cabinet said, were conducted concomitantly with four razing operations targeting eight facilities and the takeover of more than 645 dunams of land in the cities of Bethlehem and Tubas under various pretexts.

The meeting reemphasized the importance of holding those perpetrators to account and providing global protection for the Palestinian people. (QNA)
