Doha, June 17 (QNA) - The Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) general index opened higher on Wednesday, gaining 19.39 points, or 0.18%, to reach 10,570 points, compared to the previous session's close, supported by five sectors.
Market data showed gains in the Telecoms sector by (+0.49%), Industrials (+0.30%), Transportation (+0.13%), Real Estate (+0.03%), and Banks and Financial Services (+0.01%). Meanwhile, the performane was negative for the Consumer Goods and Services sector by (-0.01%), and Insurance by (-0.46%).
By 10:00 am, trading turnover reached QAR 54.240 million, with 25.033 million shares traded in 4,103 transactions. (QNA)
