Riyadh, June 08 (QNA) - The Saudi Ministry of Defense denied on Monday reports that had been circulated about Prince Sultan Air Base in Al-Kharj Governorate being targeted.

Official Spokesperson of the Ministry of Defense Maj. Gen. Turki Al Malki stated that what had been circulated regarding this targeting is untrue.

Al Malki explained that the sound of the sirens heard at dawn today was merely a precautionary measure due to the launch of a ballistic missile from Yemen, which disappeared near the border.

According to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA), Al Malki said that investigations are still ongoing to get to the bottom of the details surrounding this launch. (QNA)
