Israeli Occupation Forces Launch Widespread Raids Across West Bank
Ramallah, June 30 (QNA) - Israeli occupation forces carried out a series of raids across several cities and towns in the occupied West Bank on Tuesday, arresting at least one Palestinian and conducting extensive searches of homes, according to local sources.
The sources said Israeli troops arrested a Palestinian man after raiding and searching his family's home in the town of Beitunia, west of Ramallah, while also entering several towns and villages across the Ramallah and Al-Bireh governorate.
A large Israeli military force also raided the town of Abwein, north of Ramallah, searching a number of homes. Separate incursions were reported in the villages of Kharbatha al-Misbah and Kharbatha Bani Harith, west of the city.
In the Ras al-Ahmar area, southeast of Tubas, Israeli forces raided six homes, ransacked their contents, and destroyed a surveillance camera system, the sources added.
In Nablus, Israeli troops stormed the headquarters of the Al-Tadamon Charitable Society on Al-Adl Street, causing damage inside the building, before raiding the Balata and Askar refugee camps east of the city.
Elsewhere, Israeli forces searched several homes in the town of Yatta, south of Hebron, and blocked a number of secondary roads with earth mounds.
Troops also closed the main road linking Yatta and As-Samu with concrete blocks, disrupting the movement of residents and vehicles.
The occupied West Bank and Jerusalem witness near-daily Israeli military raids, settler incursions, and arrests. (QNA)
