Russian Attack Kills 22 People Across Ukraine
Kyiv, June 03 (QNA) - Ukrainian authorities said that 22 people were killed and more than 100 others injured in attacks launched by Russia involving hundreds of drones and dozens of missiles early on Tuesday.
The updated toll marked an increase from an earlier report that put the number of dead at 18 and the number of injured at 66.
Russia's Defense Ministry said on Tuesday that it had carried out massive airstrikes on Ukraine in response to an earlier Ukrainian attack on Starobilsk in the Luhansk People's Republic, killing 21 students and injuring 42 others in drone strikes on a college, in addition to other attacks targeting civilian infrastructure.
