Cairo, June 29 (QNA) - The Arab Republic of Egypt extended its sincere condolences and deepest sympathies to the State of Qatar over the death of a Qatari citizen who was fatally injured by shrapnel resulting from the military operations in the region, which also injured one resident, wishing the injured a swift recovery.

In its statement on Monday, the Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs reaffirmed Egypt's full solidarity with the State of Qatar and reiterated its rejection of all actions that endanger civilians or threaten the security and stability of the region.

It also emphasized the importance of continuing efforts aimed at reducing tensions and reinforcing de-escalation to preserve the security and safety of the peoples of the region. (QNA)
