Doha, June 28 (QNA) - The Ministry of Education and Higher Education (MOEHE) announced the provision of more than 3,000 free study seats for Qatari students who meet the conditions within the social responsibility project, in a number of private schools participating in the project.

In a statement on Sunday, the MOEHE said that these seats are available for fees equivalent to the value of the approved educational voucher, as the participating schools that provide these seats bear any difference exceeding the value of the voucher, thus enabling eligible families to benefit from educational options in private schools without additional financial burdens.

The ministry indicated that the project targets Qatari families whose actual income does not exceed QAR 35,000 per month.

Actual income refers to the income remaining after deducting the family's fixed financial obligations, in accordance with the approved regulations and procedures.

The MOEHE explained that this project comes within the framework of strengthening the partnership with private schools, and expanding the educational opportunities available to Qatari students, in order to support their access to quality education that meets their needs and reduces the burdens on their families.

The ministry highlighted that applications for seats are submitted through the "Maarif" platform, in accordance with the announced terms and conditions. (QNA)
