State Minister for Energy Offers Condolences Over Death of Pakistani National in Gas Facility Incident

Doha, June 24 (QNA) - HE Minister of State for Energy Affairs, the President and CEO of QatarEnergy, Eng. Saad bin Sherida Al Kaabi, visited the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan in Doha Wednesday to offer condolences over the death of a Pakistani national in the Barzan gas facility incident in Ras Laffan.
HE Al Kaabi met with HE the Ambassador Muhammad Aamer and conveyed his condolences as well as those of employees of Qatar's energy sector to the victim's family and to the government and people of Pakistan. 
He expressed solidarity with the people of Pakistan, saying that the loss of innocent lives is a tragedy that touches all. He extended prayers for the victims and wished speedy recovery for those injured.
A Pakistani national was among 13 people who lost their lives in the explosion and fire at the Barzan local gas supply facility at Ras Laffan Industrial City on Sunday, June 21. (QNA)
