Oil Falls Nearly 4% on Positive Signals From US-Iran Talks
New York, June 22 (QNA) - Oil prices fell about 4 percent on Monday after US Vice President J.D. Vance said progress had been made in talks with Iran and that the Strait of Hormuz remained open.
Brent crude futures dropped $3.18, or 3.95 percent, to $77.39 a barrel.
US West Texas Intermediate crude futures fell $2.15 to $74.45 a barrel ahead of the contract's expiration later in the day. The more actively traded August contract declined $2.49, or 3.28 percent, to $73.36 a barrel. (QNA)
