Three Killed, Six Injured in Israeli Air Strike in Eastern Lebanon, Health Ministry Says
Beirut, June 19 (QNA) - Three people have been killed and six others injured in an Israeli air strike in eastern Lebanon, according to the Lebanese health ministry.
The ministry's Emergency Operations Center said on Friday the strike targeted the town of Ain Bourday in the Baalbek district. It described the casualty figures as preliminary and said rescue efforts were continuing.
Earlier in the day, the health ministry reported that a series of Israeli air strikes carried out from midnight through the morning had left at least 18 people dead and 33 wounded across parts of Lebanon.
The latest attacks come amid ongoing tensions, raising concerns over a further escalation of violence in the region.
Authorities are continuing to assess the damage and verify casualty numbers. (QNA)
