Ramallah, June 17 (QNA) - The Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs condemned the crimes perpetrated by settler gangs at dawn on Wednesday, following the arson of Jaljulia Grand Mosque and Al-Farooq Mosque in Mazari Al-Nu'man village, north of Ramallah.

Those gangs put up inciting and racist graffiti on the walls of these mosques, the Ministry said in a statement, describing the act as an infringement upon the most basic laws, humanitarian principles, and international norms.

The statement held the Israeli occupation army fully responsible for these two crimes and their consequences, stressing that persistent impunity condones perpetrators to commit further crimes and violations against the Palestinian people.

The Ministry urged the international community and its relevant institutions to take practical and binding measures to stop settler violence and designate armed settlers who carry out systematic attacks against Palestinian civilians as terrorist organizations.

The statement continued that the ongoing delay in enforcing international standards regarding crimes committed against the Palestinian people reflects double standards and enables the repetition of such attacks.

It emphasized that this delay deepens a culture of impunity, calling for taking perpetrators to task, alongside those who support, protect, and supply them with weapons. The statement stressed the need for deterrent measures to prevent recurrence. (QNA)
