Pakistani Premier: US-Iran Deal Likely Expected in Next 24 Hours

Islamabad, June 13 (QNA) - Prime Minister of Pakistan, Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif announced on Saturday that a deal between the United States and Iran is likely to be signed within the next 24 hours.

In a post on X, Sharif said, "Pakistan is preparing for the electronic signing of the peace deal immediately after, followed by technical level talks next week."

He also thanked both the US and Iran for their ongoing commitment during the negotiations.

"We are confident that this historic peace deal will form a strong foundation for lasting peace," the Pakistani Premier added.

On Thursday, US President, Donald Trump had announced that US Vice President, JD Vance will attend the signing ceremony of the US-Iran deal, adding that the ceremony is expected to take place in Europe early this week. (QNA)
