Doha, June 11 (QNA) - The Public Works Authority (Ashghal) has won the Sustainability Excellence Awards 2026 in the sustainable urban development category, presented by the Gulf Organization for Research and Development (GORD), at the conclusion of Project Qatar 2026, where it participated as a strategic partner.
In a statement, Ashghal said the award recognizes its contributions to promoting sustainability and environmental protection through the adoption of best practices and innovative solutions in infrastructure and public building projects, supporting Qatar's sustainable development goals.
Engineer Saoud Al Ansari, Director of the Buildings Projects Department, said the award reflects Ashghal's commitment to implementing sustainable practices and delivering high-quality projects that contribute to the goals of Qatar National Vision 2030. (QNA)
