Occupied Jerusalem, May 07 (QNA) - The Palestine Red Crescent Society (PRCS) announced that a number of Palestinians were injured in attacks by Israeli occupation forces and settlers on Thursday in Tulkarm, Ramallah, the northern Jordan Valley and Hebron.
Palestine News and Information Agency (WAFA) said that a young man was injured today after being assaulted by Israeli occupation forces near the Jabara military checkpoint, located on citizens' land south of Tulkarm.
PRCS said that its crews received a young man from the city of Tulkarm, after he was detained for long hours and assaulted while working near the Jabara military checkpoint.
A young man was also wounded by live fire during an Israeli occupation forces raid on the village of Dura Al Qara north of Ramallah, during which they fired sound bombs and toxic gas at the citizens, leading to clashes in the village.
PRCS said its crews dealt with a live bullet wound to the abdomen.
In the same context, three Palestinians were injured by bruises as a result of settlers attacking them in Khirbet Samra in the northern Jordan Valley, and three others suffered from suffocation as a result of being attacked by settlers in Masafer Yatta, south of Hebron.
In a related context, the Israeli occupation forces arrested a 20-year-old young man from the town of Aqaba, north of Tubas, after he was summoned for interrogation at the Salem occupation camp.
The cities, towns and camps of the occupied West Bank and Jerusalem witness daily raids and incursions by the Israeli occupation forces, accompanied by confrontations, arrests and the firing of live and rubber bullets and toxic tear gas canisters at Palestinian youths. (QNA)
