Doha, June 18 (QNA) - Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC) has celebrated the achievements of 138 medical residents during a dedicated convocation ceremony for physicians who have successfully completed their residency training programs.
Held at HMC's Itqan Clinical Simulation and Innovation Center, the ceremony brought together HMC leaders, faculty members, mentors, families and colleagues.
The ceremony reflects HMC's ongoing commitment, through its accredited residency and medical training programs, to preparing highly qualified medical professionals in line with the latest international standards, contributing to the enhancement and sustainability of healthcare quality in the State of Qatar.
The graduates represent a key pillar in supporting HMC's journey, as they are expected to take on advanced roles in delivering specialized healthcare services, contributing to the development of clinical practice, and supporting medical research and education. This further strengthens the future readiness of the healthcare sector and reinforces HMC's position as a leading academic healthcare institution.
HMC's Chief Medical Officer, Dr. Khalid Mohammed Al Jalham, said: "Today, we celebrate the achievements of 138 physicians who have completed an important stage in their professional journey. Their success reflects years of hard work and dedication and a deep commitment to learning. We are proud of what they have accomplished and look forward to seeing the positive impact they will make for our patients, communities and the healthcare system in Qatar."
Dr. Abdulla Al Naimi, Deputy Chief Medical Officer for Medical Education at HMC, said: "This graduation ceremony celebrates the dedication and achievements of our residents and the collective efforts of everyone involved in their training. Residency is a challenging and rewarding journey that prepares physicians to provide safe, high-quality care for patients. We are proud of our graduates and confident they will make valuable contributions to healthcare and medical education throughout their careers." (QNA)
