Beirut, May 05 (QNA) - Lebanese Foreign Minister Youssef Raji met Austrian Special Envoy for the Middle East Arad Benko, currently visiting Lebanon, to discuss the situation in Lebanon and the region amid ongoing developments.
Raji expressed hope that negotiations with Israel would lead to a lasting ceasefire and a full Israeli withdrawal from occupied Lebanese territories.
Benko affirmed Austria’s support for Lebanon and signaled readiness to contribute to any international force that could replace the UN Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL). (QNA)
