Jordanian, Moroccan Foreign Ministers Discuss Efforts to Restore Regional Stability
Amman, June 23 (QNA) - Jordanian Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi held talks Tuesday with his Moroccan counterpart, Nasser Bourita, who is visiting Jordan, on regional developments and efforts to restore security and stability in the region.
During the meeting, Safadi and Bourita expressed support for US-Iran negotiations and stressed the need to reach a comprehensive solution that addresses all sources of tension and ensures lasting security and stability.
The two ministers also underscored the importance of coordinating all efforts to ensure stability in Gaza and implementing all provisions of US President Donald Trump's plan as a means of achieving that goal.
They further emphasized the need to halt all illegal Israeli measures that undermine the two-state solution and to respect the historic and legal status quo at Islamic and Christian holy sites in Jerusalem. (QNA)
