Madrid, May 03 (QNA) - FC Barcelona moved closer to retaining the La Liga title after defeating hosts CA Osasuna 2-1 today, Saturday, in the 34th round.

With four matches remaining in the season, Barcelona leads the standings with 88 points, 14 points ahead of second-placed Real Madrid, who will face Espanyol tomorrow, Sunday.

Barcelona opened the scoring in the 81st minute when Marcus Rashford delivered a cross from the right, and Robert Lewandowski rose to head it into the net. Five minutes later, Fermin Lopez set up Ferran Torres, who went one-on-one with goalkeeper Sergio Herrera and slotted the ball low into the net.

Raul Garcia pulled one back from close range two minutes later, but Osasuna was unable to equalize and remains in 10th place with 42 points. (QNA)
