Aden, May 28 (QNA) - Former Yemeni President Abd Rabbuh Mansur Hadi passed away today, the presidency of Yemen said.

The Yemeni presidency declared three days of official mourning and ordered flags to be flown at half-staff.

Hadi was elected President of Yemen in February 2012. In April 2012, he issued a declaration regarding the transfer of power, in which he announced his resignation from presidential duties and the formation of a Presidential Leadership Council. (QNA)
