China Launches New Communication Technology Test Satellite Into Space
Beijing, May 27 (QNA) - China launched a new communication technology test satellite into space Wednesday, which successfully reached its preset orbit.
The satellite was launched aboard a modified Long March-7 carrier rocket from the Wenchang commercial space launch site in Hainan Province in southern China.
The satellite is primarily intended to verify multi-band, high-speed satellite communication technologies, while the launch is the 645th mission of the Long March carrier rocket series.
In essence, these satellites are mainly used in communications, radio and television services, data transmission, and other services, as well as conducting related technical tests and verifications. (QNA)
