LoginChina Firmly Opposes US' Deployment of Midrange Missile Systems in Japan
Beijing, May 22 (QNA) - China reiterated its strong opposition to the deployment of midrange missile systems by the United States in Japan.
Chinese foreign ministry spokesperson Guo Jiakun, at a press briefing on Friday, urged the US and Japan to rectify their wrongdoings.
According to media reports, the US military plans to deploy its Typhon midrange missile system in Japan between June and September for their joint military drills. After the exercises, the system will be moved to a US military base in Japan. (QNA)
