Qatar Olympic Academy Participates in International Session for NOAs and NOCs Delegates in Greece
Athens, May 19 (QNA) - The Qatar Olympic Academy participated in the 19th International Session for National Olympic Academies' and National Olympic Committees' Delegates held under the theme "Empowering Inclusion, Integrity and Responsibility for Every Athlete".
140 participants from 100 countries attended the session in Ancient Olympia, Greece.
Executive Director of the Qatar Olympic Academy Khalil Ibrahim Al Jaber affirmed that participation in this forum represents a significant milestone in the Academy's journey to enhance its international presence, noting that it serves as a unique platform for exchanging experiences and knowledge among sports academies from around the world.
In a press statement, Al Jaber said that their presence at this forum reflects the commitment of the State of Qatar and the Qatar Olympic Academy to promoting Olympic values and emphasizing the role of sport as a bridge for cultural and human communication.
He also highlighted the Academy's active contribution to discussions addressing issues of inclusion, integrity, and responsibility, which are fundamental values at the heart of the Olympic Movement.
He added that the Qatari Academy seeks, through this participation, to build strategic partnerships with its international counterparts and develop educational and training programs that keep pace with the latest global trends, which contributes to preparing national cadres capable of leading sports work according to the highest standards.
Al Jaber pointed out that the forum’s discussions on governance, transparency and sustainability in sports represent a valuable opportunity to exchange ideas and adopt best practices that can positively reflect on the development of the sports system in Qatar and the region. (QNA)
