President of Finland Meets Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs

Athens, May 16 (QNA) - HE President of the Republic of Finland Alexander Stubb met Saturday with HE Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani on the sidelines of the inaugural summit of the Alliance for Europe-Gulf Geopolitics and Investments Summit, held in Athens, Greece.

At the outset of the meeting, HE the Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs conveyed the greetings of HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani to HE the President of Finland, wishing HE the President good health and happiness, and the people of Finland continued progress and prosperity.

In turn, HE the President of Finland entrusted HE the Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs with his greetings to HH the Amir, wishing His Highness good health and happiness, and the Qatari people continued progress and development.

During the meeting, they discussed cooperation relations and ways to support and strengthen them. They also discussed developments in the region, particularly those related to the ceasefire between the United States of America and the Islamic Republic of Iran, and efforts aimed at reducing escalation to contribute to enhancing security and stability in the region.
