China, US Agree to Boost Bilateral Trade as Part of Tariff Reductions
Beijing, May 15 (QNA) - The economic teams of China and the United States have agreed to increase bilateral trade within the framework of a mutual reduction of tariffs.
Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi stated during a press conference today that the economic and trade teams of China and the United States also agreed to establish a trade council and an investment council.
The Chinese Foreign Minister added that the two sides also agreed to address each other's concerns regarding market access for agricultural products.
Earlier today, Chinese President Xi Jinping and his US counterpart, Donald Trump, announced an agreement on a new vision for relations between the two countries, based on strategic stability and enhanced bilateral cooperation in various fields. (QNA)
