Lebanon's Minister of Health: 108 Paramedics Killed Since March
Beirut, May 12 (QNA) - Lebanese Health Minister Dr. Rakan Nassereddine announced that the toll of Israeli attacks on the health sector since Mar. 2 has reached 163 direct attacks on ambulance crews, resulting in the killing of 108 paramedics and health workers and damage to 108 ambulances and fire trucks, in addition to targeting 16 hospitals and forcibly closing 4 hospitals.
He noted that the death toll since the ceasefire on Apr. 17 has reached 1,502 casualties, including 380 dead and 1,122 wounded, while the cumulative toll since the war expanded on Mar. 2 has risen to 11,650 casualties, including 2,882 dead and 8,768 wounded. (QNA)
