Manama, May 13 (QNA) - King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa of Bahrain held talks on Wednesday with Chairman of Sudan's Transitional Sovereignty Council General Abdel Fattah Al Burhan, who is currently visiting Manama, on regional developments and international issues of mutual concern.

The two sides also discussed the latest developments in Sudan and ongoing efforts to reach a permanent ceasefire that fulfills the aspirations of the Sudanese people for peace and stability, preserves Sudan's sovereignty, unity, and territorial integrity, and facilitates the unhindered delivery of humanitarian and relief aid across the country.

Al Burhan reiterated Sudan's solidarity with Bahrain and condemned the brutal Iranian aggression targeting the kingdom, affirming Sudan's support for all measures taken by Bahrain to protect its sovereignty, security, and stability. (QNA)
