Abu Dhabi, April 9 (QNA) - UAE Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al-Nahyan discussed today in phone calls with Saudi Minister of Foreign Affairs Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah, Jordanian Minister of Foreign Affairs Ayman Safadi, and Bolivia’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Fernando Aramayo, the regional developments following Iranian missile attacks targeting the UAE and several countries in the region.

They also discussed the latest developments in the region following US President Donald Trump’s announcement of a two-week ceasefire between the United States and Iran.

During the calls, Sheikh Al-Nahyan stressed the importance of ensuring Iran’s full commitment to an immediate cessation of any hostile acts in the region, the complete and unconditional reopening of the Strait of Hormuz, and the cessation of threats targeting freedom of navigation, international trade, energy supplies, and the global economy.
