The S&P 500 rose five points, or 0.08 percent, to 6,587.66.
The Nasdaq Composite gained 60.6 points, or 0.28 percent, to 21,939.796.
Conversely, the Dow Jones Industrial Average fell 32.5 points, or 0.07 percent, to 46,472.2. (QNA)
