Islamabad, April 6 (QNA) - Pakistani Foreign Minister Muhammad Ishaq Dar discussed the latest regional developments, particularly in the Middle East, in a telephone call Monday with his Portuguese counterpart, Paulo Rangel.

During the call, the Pakistani Foreign Minister stressed the need for de-escalation, highlighting his country's diplomatic efforts to achieve lasting stability and peace in the region.

For his part, the Portuguese Foreign Minister affirmed his country's support for Pakistan's efforts to facilitate and strengthen dialogue and diplomacy for regional stability and peace.

In the context of bilateral relations, both sides emphasized their shared commitment to enhancing relations between the two countries in various fields.(QNA)
