Beirut, April 6 (QNA) - Lebanese Prime Minister Nawaf Salam said Monday that the Israeli entity must halt its military operations and withdraw from all Lebanese territory.

During a phone call with his Spanish counterpart, Pedro Sanchez, Salam emphasized that the Israeli incursion into Lebanon under the pretext of establishing a buffer zone or security belt is completely unacceptable.

For his part, Sanchez affirmed Spain's support for Lebanon and its territorial integrity, condemned the attacks on the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL), and stressed the necessity of conducting the necessary investigations into these incidents.

The call also reviewed the latest developments in Lebanon. (QNA)
