Doha, Qatar, April 30 (QNA) - Qatar Insurance Company (QIC) Q.S.P.C. reported 1.74 percent increase in net profit for the first quarter of the current year.

According to financial statements published on the Qatar Stock Exchange website on Thursday, QIC's net profit reached approximately QAR 204.553 million, compared to QAR 201.039 million for the same period last year.

Earnings per share stood at QAR 0.030 for the first quarter, compared with QAR 0.046 for the corresponding period a year earlier. (QNA)
