Israeli Occupation Forces Arrest More Than 12 Palestinians, including Children, in West Bank
Occupied Jerusalem, April 27 (QNA) - Israeli occupation forces launched a campaign of arrests Monday targeting more than 12 Palestinians, including children, from various areas across the West Bank, following raids on their homes and searches.
WAFA News Agency reported that Israeli occupation forces arrested four Palestinians from Bethlehem governorate and two youths from Tulkarm, as well as the father of a freed prisoner north of Jerusalem.
The forces also detained three children from the town of Beit Ummar north of Hebron, in addition to two youths from the town of Al-Ram north of Jerusalem, and a number of Palestinian citizens from Nablus.
Israeli occupation authorities continue to expand their repressive and settlement-related practices across the occupied territories by carrying out raids and home invasions, arresting residents, and through the unlawful legitimization of settlers to commit violations against Palestinians, including the seizure of property and land without legal right. They also support settlement projects by constructing outposts to advance plans aimed at acquiring as much Palestinian land as possible and extending control over it. (QNA)
