Qatar Stock Exchange Closes Lower as Market Capitalization Slightly Declines
Doha, April 27 (QNA) - The Qatar Stock Exchange closed Monday's trading session in negative territory, shedding 26.15 points, or 0.25%, to settle at 10,641.90 points.
A total of 209.7 million shares were traded during the session, with a combined value of QAR 449 million, across 21,301 transactions spanning all sectors.
Market performance was mixed, with shares in 28 companies advancing, while 22 declined and three remained unchanged.
Market capitalization stood at approximately QAR 634.06 billion at the close, down from QAR 635.93 billion recorded in the previous session, reflecting a modest contraction in overall market value. (QNA)
