Oman Reaffirms Support for Somalia's Unity, Sovereignty, Rejects Any Entities Outside State Framework
Muscat, April 25 (QNA) - Oman's Minister of Foreign Affairs, Badr bin Hamad Al Busaidi, met on Saturday in Muscat with Somalia's Minister of Foreign Affairs, Abdisalam Abdi Ali, to discuss bilateral relations and ways to enhance cooperation across various fields.
During the meeting, the two ministers also reviewed the latest developments in the Horn of Africa, stressing the need to support regional and international efforts aimed at strengthening security, stability, and advancing development pathways.
Al Busaidi reaffirmed Oman's firm and supportive stance toward Somalia's unity, sovereignty, and territorial integrity, as well as the will of its people, and its non-recognition of any entities outside the framework of the Somali state.
For his part, Somalia's foreign minister expressed his country's appreciation for Oman's constructive diplomatic role and its continued efforts to support initiatives aimed at strengthening security, promoting reconciliation, and fostering dialogue among all parties. (QNA)
