Beirut, April 25 (QNA) - The Lebanese Ministry of Public Health announced today that the death toll from the Israeli aggression against the country since March 2 has risen to 2,496, with 7,719 wounded.

Meanwhile, the country's national news agency reported three Israeli strikes targeting the the town of Kounin in southern Lebanon's Bint Jbeil District.

The Israeli army continues its attacks on southern Lebanon in violation of the ceasefire that began on April 16 for ten days and was extended last night for three weeks. (QNA)
