Doha, April 23 (QNA) - HE Minister of State for Foreign Trade Affairs at the Ministry of Commerce and Industry Dr. Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Sayed met via videoconferencing on Thursday with HE Minister of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of India Piyush Goyal.

During the meeting, they discussed the current situation in the region and the challenges it poses to the global economy and trade, particularly with regard to global supply chains. They also reviewed ways to enhance the resilience and sustainability of these chains, thereby contributing to the stability of global trade.

They also discussed trade and investment cooperation between the State of Qatar and the Republic of India and ways to develop it further, in a manner that serves the common interests of both countries. (QNA)
