Abu Dhabi, April 22 (QNA) - HH President of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and Italian Minister of Defense Guido Crosetto, who is visiting Abu Dhabi, discussed ways to strengthen relations and cooperation between the two countries, particularly in defense and security matters.

During the meeting, the two sides also discussed developments in the Middle East and their repercussions on regional and global security and stability, as well as their impact on international maritime security.

They also discussed Iranian attacks against the UAE and other countries in the region, which targeted civilians, facilities, and civilian infrastructure.

The Italian Defense Minister reiterated his country's condemnation of the attacks, which constitute a violation of state sovereignty and international law, and undermine regional stability and security. (QNA)
