Syrian President Reaffirms Solidarity with Qatar over Security Threats

Damascus, April 22 (QNA) - HE President of the Syrian Arab Republic Ahmed Al Sharaa has reiterated his country's solidarity with the State of Qatar regarding threats to its security and sovereignty.

In a post on the social media platform X, the Syrian president said he held a "fraternal meeting" with HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani, describing it as reflecting the depth of understanding between the two countries.

He added that the talks opened wider prospects for joint cooperation in key areas, particularly energy, investment and trade connectivity.

Al Sharaa also renewed Syria's solidarity with the State of Qatar in the face of any threats affecting its security and sovereignty. (QNA)
