Doha, April 22 (QNA) - The State of Qatar has participated in the fifth meeting of the GCC Committee of Investment Undersecretaries, held virtually on Wednesday.

The State of Qatar was represented at the meeting by HE Undersecretary of the Ministry of Commerce and Industry Mohammed bin Hassan Al Malki.

The meeting discussed a range of items on its agenda, including progress in implementing the action plans of the Investment Integration Committee and the Investment Promotion Committee, as well as measures taken by GCC states amid current regional developments.

Participants also reviewed a unified Gulf list of priority sectors aimed at attracting foreign direct investment, alongside industrial investment opportunities across member states and related decisions.

The agenda further included a review of investment-related laws and regulations in GCC countries, a priority matrix for cooperation with international partners in the investment field, reports on investment-related events, and outcomes of the 69th meeting of the GCC Trade Cooperation Committee.
