Ukraine Requests Turkiye to Host Summit Between Zelensky and Putin
Kyiv, April 19 (QNA) - Ukraine's Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha said his country has asked Turkiye to host a potential meeting between President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Russian President Vladimir Putin.
In remarks to the Ukrainian news agency (Ukrinform) on Sunday, Sybiha said Ankara has the capacity to play a significant diplomatic role in advancing efforts to end the conflict.
He added that Ukraine had proposed holding the meeting in Turkiye, with the possible participation of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and US President Donald Trump. (QNA)
