Doha, April 2 (QNA) - The Qatar News Agency (QNA) has marked World Autism Awareness Day by illuminating its headquarters in blue, joining state institutions in raising awareness.

The annual event, observed on April 2, aims to promote awareness and global support for those affected.

QNA said its initiative is intended to highlight the importance of awareness and encourage broader support and inclusion for individuals with autism, including access to care and resources.

It added that its participation comes in line with the State of Qatar's comprehensive development process as outlined in the Qatar National Vision 2030.

World Autism Awareness Day was established by the United Nations General Assembly in 2007 following a proposal by Qatar. (QNA)
