QFA's Refereeing Department Launches Technical Program to Enhance Elite Referees' Performance
Doha, April 02 (QNA) - The Qatar Football Association's (QFA) Refereeing Department announced the launch of a new technical program specifically designed for elite referees.
This initiative aims to improve refereeing performance and enhance transparency and professionalism in match management.
Developed and launched by the department's technology section, the program is a comprehensive platform featuring a complete database of match statistics.
It also provides detailed documentation of all refereeing decisions, including both positive and negative rulings, along with the refereeing department's technical analysis of each case.
The program offers a unique feature, the ability to record referees' periodic meetings. Each referee can access and review these meetings at any time, fostering continuous learning and knowledge sharing.
Furthermore, the program includes detailed statistics for each referee, enabling accurate and objective performance evaluations.
It also allows referees in all roles, from main referee to assistant referee to fourth official, to track all refereeing decisions during matches, with a full explanation provided for each incident.
The launch of this program comes as part of the Refereeing Department's efforts to keep pace with the latest global technologies, and to provide an advanced digital environment that contributes to raising the level of Qatari arbitration, and to support referees with continuous analysis and evaluation, which will positively reflect on the quality of competitions.
