AFC Champions League Elite Semifinalists Determined, Following Shabab AlAhli Victory over Buriram United

Jeddah, April 18 (QNA) - The United Arab Emirates' (UAE) Shabab Al Ahli Dubai FC completed the list of AFC Champions League Elite semifinalists.

This came after defeating Thailand's Buriram United 3-2, in a match held at Prince Abdullah Al Faisal Stadium, Saudi Arabia, on Saturday.

Buriram United player Peter Zulj scored an own goal in the 13th minute, giving Shabab AlAhli their first goal, while Saeed Ezatolahi and Renan scored their Emirati team's second and third goals in the 49th and 93rd minutes, respectively. 

In turn, Buriram United's goals were scored by Guilherme Bissoli from a penalty in the 64th minute and by Peter Zulj in the 70th minute.

The regular time ended in a 1-1 draw, sending the game into extra time.

Shabab Al Ahli scored the game's decisive goal in the first extra-time period, with the team maintaining their lead until the final whistle.

The match saw Buriram United's Myeong-Seok Go receive a red card in the 120+4th minute. (QNA)
