Ukraine Says Air Defenses Down Most Drones in Overnight Russian Attack
Kyiv, April 14 (QNA) - Ukraine said on Tuesday its air defenses repelled the majority of drones launched from Russia in an overnight aerial assault targeting multiple regions.
Ukrinform news agency reported that the air defenses intercepted one missile and 114 drones out of a total of four missiles and 129 drones fired. The extent of damage caused by the remaining projectiles was not immediately unclear.
The attack is part of ongoing hostilities between the two countries since February 24, 2022.
Both countries have issued near-daily reports on the course of the fighting and the affected areas. However, due to the ongoing war and the nature of the conflict, these statements cannot be independently verified. (QNA)
