Al Sadd Win Doha Bank Stars League Title

Doha, April 13 (QNA) - Al Sadd were determined Doha Bank Stars League champions.

This development came after Al Sadd's direct rival, Al Shamal, suffered a 2-0 defeat to Qatar SC, in their rescheduled fixture from Week 17 of this season, held at Al Bayt Stadium, Monday.

With 42 points, Al Sadd secured their third consecutive and 19th QSL title, regardless of the outcome of the final match to be held between Al Sadd and Al Shamal on April 28.

Al Shamal are currently in 2nd place with 37 points, while Al Rayyan are in 3rd place with 35 points, ahead of Qatar SC in 4th on goal difference, whereas Al Gharafa rank 5th, also with 35 points. (QNA)
