GCC Secretary General, US Deputy Secretary of State Discuss Regional Updates
Riyadh, April 13 (QNA) - Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), Jasem Mohamed Albudaiwi received a phone call on Monday from Deputy Secretary of State of the United States of America, Christopher Landau.
During the call, the two sides discussed the latest regional developments and topics of mutual interest, exchanging views on these matters.
They also explored ways to bolster strategic relations between the GCC and the United States through joint working groups across various fields.
Albudaiwi and Landau emphasized the significance of continued joint coordination and the intensification of efforts aimed at backing security and stability in the region, in a manner that serves mutual interests and enhances opportunities for cooperation between the two parties.
Furthermore, Albudaiwi highlighted the GCC's keenness to strengthen its international partnerships, foremost among them the partnership with the United States. (QNA)
