Al Duhail, Al Arabi, Al Rayyan, Al Gharafa Reach HH the Amir Cup Handball Semi-finals
Doha, April 10 (QNA) - Al Duhail qualified for HH the Amir Cup Handball semi-final after defeating Qatar SC on Thursday.
Al Duhail secured their place in the semi-finals with a 36-27 victory over Qatar SC, setting up a semi-final clash with Al Rayyan, who defeated Al Wakrah 27-23.
Al Arabi also advanced to the semi-finals after a 31-25 win against Al-Sadd, and will face Al Gharafa, who defeated Al Ahli 27-21.
The semi-final matches will be held next Saturday, with the final taking place next Monday.
Al Duhail won HH the Amir Cup Handball title last season, defeating Al Arabi 29-27 in the final.
Al Sadd hold the record for the most wins in the tournament, having won the title eight times, followed by Al Ahli and Al Duhail with five titles each, then Al Rayyan and Al Jaish with four titles each, Al Arabi with three titles, and Al Wakrah with one title. (QNA)
