Doha, April 10 (QNA) - Al Arabi and Al Sadd will meet tomorrow, Saturday, in the final match of the quarter-finals of the 13th edition of the Qatar Basketball Cup for men (2025-2026 season).

Both teams will be vying for victory and the last qualifying spot for the semi-finals.

Al Arabi aim to continue their run and win the title, completing a league and cup double, while Al Sadd hope to qualify and seek its first title this season.

Tomorrow's match comes after three semi-final spots were secured. Al Rayyan qualified after defeating Al Khor (70-47), Al Wakrah secured its place after overcoming Qatar SC (86-73), and Al Shamal qualified after defeating Al Gharafa (99-78), leaving only one remaining spot to be decided between Al Arabi and Al Sadd.

Al Sadd reached this stage after defeating Al Ahli 78-67 in their preliminary round match, while Al Arabi entered the competition directly in the quarterfinals.

The winner of the final qualifying spot will face Al Rayyan, while the other semifinal will be between Al Wakrah and Al Shamal.

The two semifinal matches will be held next Monday at the Al Gharafa Arena, and the final will take place next Thursday to determine the champion of the 13th edition of the tournament.

It is worth noting that Al Gharafa and Al Arabi share the record for most titles with four each, while Al Rayyan, Al Wakrah, Al Sadd, and Qatar SC have each won the title once. (QNA)
